INGe: Intensity-ground motion data set for Italy

In this paper we present an updated and homogeneous earthquake dataset for Italy compiled by joining the intensities available in Italian Macroseismic Database DBMI15 peak ground motion (PGM) parameters Engineering Strong-Motion (ESM) accelerometric data bank. The database has been through extensive procedure of evaluation revision based on two main steps: 1) selection earthquakes with macroseismic terms sources 2) extraction all localities reporting intensity which are located within 3 km from accelerograph stations that recorded data. final includes 519 intensity-PGM pairs 65 227 time span 1972–2016. reported expressed either Mercalli-Cancani- Sieberg (MCS) or European (EMS-98) scales. events characterized magnitudes range 4.1–6.8 depths 0–55 km. Here, illustrate collection properties recording, event station distributions as well points.
